Here are a few inconvenient facts regarding alleged global warming:

1. The world's temperature has not increased in the last 10 years.

2. A glacier in Argentina is growing.

3. Polar bears are the poster child for global warming alarmists. There are almost twice as many polar bears today as there were in the 1980s.

4. Sunspot activity is almost negligible. The new cycle is over one year overdue. This will mean cooler temperatures worldwide as less solar radiation reaches the earth.

5. Locally, the first three weeks of June were very mild. Campers at Pinecrest developed hypothermia, and Tioga Pass was closed due to a blizzard. Hardly seems like increasing temperatures.

It doesn't matter how many debunking facts you present, the warming alarmists will just make up something to say to discredit it. They use the tried and true method of — if you repeat a lie long enough, people will believe it.

We are being sold a bill of goods that will do nothing more than raise our taxes, raise utility rates for all and make it harder for businesses. This is not what we need to bring us out of this recession.
