Since the media ignored the Heartland International Climate Conference March 8-10, it is obvious they want man to feel guilty for global warming. Regardless, the truth will finally out, and it would appear to me that your standing with the public would be better if you admitted this sooner rather than later.

If you have trouble believing that our climate is being controlled by something other than carbon dioxide, check the global temperature curve and try to explain its behavior since January 2007 by carbon dioxide.

Now that the EPA has found what it wanted to find rather than what is deducible from the known facts and declared carbon dioxide a "danger to public health and welfare," it won't be long before the government establishes something like "cap and trade" and tries to amass a slush fund of billions of dollars, which Congress can spend as it sees best.

No matter how dark things look now, realizing that carbon dioxide did not and is not warming our climate simplifies one of our problems tremendously and substantially reduces the cost. Anyone who breaks this news to the public stands to gain a significant advantage in public standing.
