Overpopulation is the real issue

After watching the presidential debate Tuesday, I was again disappointed in both candidates on one key issue. Will we ever get a candidate with enough backbone to address the real issue concerning not only the United States but the whole world?

Overpopulation is the biggest reason for the ills that we suffer. The natural resources the planet has to offer are plentiful, but humans have failed to act responsibly and have reproduced to a dangerous level beyond any other species (rats and roaches are still eating).

World leaders need to adjust their sights, step up to the plate and reward and encourage zero population growth. We will all breathe fresh air, drink clean water, hunt and fish, drive and fly and maybe even learn to enjoy our neighbors and fellow man again -- at a comfortable and more natural distance.
