Gov. Schwarzenegger has let us down on many things, but don't let him get away with this one. Please call or write, urging him to veto Assembly Bill 2567. This bill seeks a day of observance for Harvey Milk, an openly gay San Francisco supervisor who was murdered. Once again, the homosexual agenda is being forced upon my children and my country. We do not need a day of observance for such a small portion of our country.
In my lifetime I've seen us lose great, important holidays such as President Lincoln's and President Washington's birthdays, add days like Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, and change the schools' Christmas vacation to winter break and Easter vacation to spring break.
Please e-mail the governor at http://gov.ca.gov/site/contact-governor or call 916-445-2841 and tell him to veto AB 2567.
