Stop whining; accept inequality

If the real concern is medical decisions and burial plots for domestic partners -- same-sex friends -- a simple legal document can be drawn up that details the person's wishes before it becomes an issue or a burden left for a family member to deal with. That is the responsible thing to do.

I propose that gay couples stop whining about rights they do have but give up voluntarily when they opt for a same-sex coupling. Since when do we grant rights to people based on the type of sexual activity they choose to indulge in?

The ACLU has lied to you. Life isn't fair; it's not all about you; we are not all equal, and the thought that same-sex couples are equal to opposite-sex couples is a delusion. Californians have been lied to also, obviously the majority rule is an illusion. But if you think a decision by vote- grabbing politicians is anything more than propaganda, you are sorely mistaken.

There is no vote, no law, no court that can take something unnatural and make it into something natural, no matter how you spin it.
