I wonder how many of you are disturbed over our justices voting in favor of gay marriages, even though 61 percent of us voted against it in 2000 on Proposition 22. These four justices went against our wishes, overstepped their authority and imposed a ruling on us that most of us don't want or believe in.
The Supreme Court will not accept phone calls or e-mails. They will only accept letters. I know letters are a bit old-fashioned but I think in this case they're called for. Please, if you're against this ruling, drop a note to: Supreme Court of California, 350 McAllister St., San Francisco 94102-4797.
I don't know if this is a sign of the times or not, but I do know if we do nothing, nothing gets done.
Thank goodness, due to millions of signatures, this will be on the November ballot as Proposition 8, so we do have a chance to overturn this ruling. Please write a letter, vote, and if you're not registered, do so.
