Re “Ask Amy – respectfully disrespected” (Page 5B, Oct. 5): Gender identity is on our birth certificates that a doctor signed based on our body parts, male or female.
This first document proves our U.S. citizenship, used for obituaries, employment, to obtain a driver’s license, for use as identification, to enroll our kids in school, military service ... list goes on and on.
Does transformation of gender by surgery allow a person to change their birth certificate or driver’s license? Does the state of California allow it?
The expression “word speak” means to alter or soften an expression. Example: “Third-world” countries to “developing” countries.
Homosexual to transgender is not correct. Produce your birth certificate, or it’s called a “Wannabees.”
