We are not to use our fireplaces and no branch burning in the orchards. Our cars have special devices so we don’t put out so much pollutants. We have to save and save etc. etc. But almost every corner of every city is getting a traffic light. When I go somewhere, a third of my time is spent standing still for a light; doesn’t that use energy? Cars are using a lot sitting still, day and night. Why keep putting light in? It does not make sense. Start doing what they do in Europe. They take out traffic lights and put in round-abouts. No electricity wasted, no waiting for the light, a lot fewer accidents and cleaner air. Can someone explain to me why we don’t do this?
