Re “District tightens rules on burning” (Page A1, Sept. 19): Your rights are going up in smoke. A geo-engineering investigation was demanded by Shasta County residents. There is lots of spraying going on in our skies. On YouTube is a video of a Shasta County Board of Supervisors meeting that everyone should watch. While they make us not burn wood, they pump chemicals into our air. People should be outraged about these programs. It doesn’t make any sense and is harming the environment and our health. Always have a supply of wood to burn in case of emergency, i.e., if an earthquake knocks out electricity or there is a collapse of the dollar.
