The District Attorney’s Office charged the person accused of choosing to drink and drive with murdering three family members. If you operate a 3,000-pound weapon with no consideration for human life, it’s murder – plain and simple. If one puts a single bullet into a revolver and spins the chamber, then aims it at a passer-by and pulls the trigger each day, would it be murder or manslaughter when the gun goes off and kills someone? (“But Judge, I did it 10 times before and nobody got hurt.”) Nothing can remove the heartache this family feels, nor put it together again. At least the judicial system should get it right, and – if found guilty – put away this vermin.
