Erika Townsend: Students should go to bed earlier

Re “Let teens sleep in, start class later” (Another View, Aug. 27): Agreed, students need more sleep. It is not because school begins too early in the morning. Students stay up too late in the evening. If students of all ages made it a priority to go to bed no later than 10 p.m., there would be no problem. Most morning jobs begin at 8 a.m. Makes sense – if you want to feel good tomorrow, get to bed early today.
