My wife and I were driving on Carpenter Road last week and ran over a hard piece of iron in the middle of the street. I tried to miss it but was a second too late and got a flat tire. We were able to get to the side of the road, and I started to change the tire when I realized I wasn’t as young as I thought I was and was having trouble. A young man by the name of Gene Grover stopped and offered to help. In several minutes he had it changed and he was on his way. However, after he left we found out our spare tire had a leak in it and we moved only a half block before it was flat again. No phone. Another young couple stopped and let us use their phone to call our son and a tow truck. Thanks to all!
