So our leaders in Stanislaus County have done it again and don’t seem to care that we are in a three-year drought.
Or maybe they haven’t been watching the news or reading the paper. All you hear is about our low reservoirs, wells going dry, and that we’re running out of water. Fireworks are in abundance through charity sales, plus the ones classified as illegal. All around, there is nothing but fuel for fire. So burn down a residence, set a field afire, scare animals into the next county where fireworks are prohibited.
Stanislaus County leaders feel justified in allowing this activity.
My options for Independence Day are simple. If I want to see fireworks, I go watch the experts blow the sky up. And I do a BBQ at home.
Never miss a local story.
So for the public who is all for bang, bang, boom, boom, burn up, blow up, scare the hell out of animals, enjoy your 4th.
