Renee Zeimer: GOP has lost its way on climate change

It seems that most Republicans have forgotten their roots. They have lost their way. As the original party of conservation and preservation of our natural resources, whose presidents have created the EPA (Nixon) and acknowledged that climate change is attributed to human actions (the first Bush), this political pivot of now denying climate-change science, ignoring the problem and refusing to take action is irresponsible and an embarrassment.

Regardless of your party affiliation, we need genuine leaders who have the courage and fortitude to act on climate change. Be sure to ask your representatives where they stand and how they have voted and plan to vote on climate policies and funding. And remember the answers when you vote in June and November.
