I had the honor of serving the citizens of Stanislaus County as assessor from January 2011 through October 2013. Prior to that time, I enjoyed a rewarding career as a real estate appraiser, and co-owner of an appraisal and consulting business in Modesto for over 30 years.
Upon my leaving the post, the Board of Supervisors appointed then-assistant assessor Don Gaekle as county assessor, a move I wholeheartedly supported. Over the intervening months, Don has done an exemplary job maintaining the professionalism and outstanding public service that the office is known for. In my mind, the choice could not be clearer. Don Gaekle is the only candidate possessing the qualifications, experience and proven ability to serve as county assessor.
Please join me, and my family, on June 3and vote to retain Don Gaekle as Stanislaus County assessor.
DAVE COGDILL SR.,
Former Stanislaus County assessor
