I would like to acknowledge publicly Bethel Retirement Community in Modesto for its fabulous, loving, caring, compassionate service to both of our parents since 2006. It is a very hard decision to leave the home you built with your own hands and leave the city of your childhood behind to move into a retirement community. But our parents did just that and were greeted with open arms, warm hearts and helping hands in their new home at Bethel. All of our parents’ many children could let their hearts rest a little bit easier knowing they were safe, secure, well fed, entertained and loved in their new home.
I cannot thank Bethel enough for the help and encouragement they are always ready to give. When Dad passed away a few weeks ago, we were adrift in emotions and indecision. Bethel stepped in with offers to have the memorial in their lovely community room and help us with the arrangements for the many family and friends attending. As Momma carries on with increased memory loss, Bethel is providing the best care a most thankful family can ask for.
