I want to thank the person(s) for slicing my tire at the Gateway Park of (Tuolumne River Regional Park). What a great feeling to find my tire sliced after an hour-plus walk.
I frequent this park daily with my dog and love it. We avoid the numerous homeless who are camped along the river; they know who I am and they, for the most part, will avoid me.
Lately, I have seen the opposite. Where is the Modesto Police Department? The only people I see are Fish & Game wardens. This latest issue of my tire being sliced is enough. I will continue to enjoy this park with my dog, but now I will be more aware of my surroundings. To the people camping there illegally (they are all illegal): Get out! I will personally ask you, with my dog at my side, to leave. You do not own this park, the citizens of Modesto do!
