Regarding “Seeing 2020” (Opinions, April 6): I am weary of any foundation that asks participants to pay money to collaborate on the future of our city. By doing so, you have negated the voices of many people who are less fortunate financially, but whose voices are no less worthy of being heard. Thank you, Modesto Bee, for offering www.modbee.com/opinion as a free option for citizens to have their voices heard, but shame on you for promoting this fee-based event.
