Regarding “School board: Job cuts needed for ‘flexibility’ ” (Page A1, March 7).
Apparently, the school board doesn’t understand that school librarians are experts in information technology. They have master’s degrees on the subject!
All they need to do is reallocate the time spent teaching about the older methods and focus more on the information part. Cutting those positions would be such a waste of the valuable people who are running our school libraries.
