Kristopher S. Pierce: A middle ground for believers

I’m sure there are those who were looking for something akin to a Scopes Trial 2.0 in the recent Bill Nye/Ken Ham debate. From the reports I’ve read, it wasn’t quite that dramatic. But it did sell a lot of tickets, and it was trending on Facebook. It seems to have generated quite a bit of discussion about the most important question any of us can ask: Are we the result of an undirected, meaningless and purposeless universe, or are we the result of a directed, meaningful and purposeful creation by an all-powerful and loving God?
