No vote? No help
The other day I attempted to send an email to Rep. Jeff Denham. When I entered my ZIP code, his website informed me that, since I wasn’t a resident of his district, I would be unable to contact him. Stop me if I’m wrong, but I was under apparently the wrong impression that members of Congress were there to work for the benefit of all Americansand not just the people who live in their districts. Perhaps it’s time for the American people to start standing up for our rights and stop politicians from thinking they are superior to us, the people they are supposed to work for. If none of this seems important to you, don’t be surprised when your world is changed around because you couldn’t be bothered.
