In response to the Nov. 11 article about the mother of a disabled adult daughter asking why Storer buses aren’t replaced: Thank you, Storer Coachways, for increasing the quality of life for people with disabilities in our community.
We appreciate the door-to-door bus service you provide and the support to help people learn to snow ski, ride a bike, learn sign language, spend a day on a farm, go water skiing, attend their prom, providing a walker or wheelchair, and ultimately helping people live a life of self-sufficiency. On behalf of the Society for Handicapped Children and Adults and the 87,000 people of Stanislaus County who have a disability, thank you for making life great.
