Yvonne Hudson: Veterans march was irresponsible

I can’t let the spectacle of the veterans protest march against the government shutdown fade into memory quite so fast. I don’t know if the tea party darlings Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, Mike Lee and, let’s not forget, Larry Klayman were invited or they just took this opportunity to photo-op for their own agendas. However, it was irresponsible and dangerous to the stability of this country, especially the speech Klayman made.

Klayman said we should think about civil disobedience and a new civil war. Really? That would solve all our problems? The problems in this country are greed and the modern-day Klan without their robes and hoods.

Also, I get tired of seeing the half-white, half-black president getting the blame for everything. To say that President Obama should put his Koran down, even though he has said he is a Christian, is ridiculous. Maybe these so-called Christians should reread their Bibles and act Christ-like according to the teachings of Jesus.

Get over your prejudices, grow up and move on! Oh, and by the way, freedom of religion is one of our rights.
