Sorry for my part in electing Denham

I am an old man. I may not see another general election. I wish to apologize. I voted for a Republican to represent me in Congress.

I am an old man. I may not see another general election. I wish to apologize. I voted for a Republican to represent me in Congress. He signed a pledge that he would vote against a tax increase for any reason. He swore fealty to the Republican Party power brokers in exchange for campaign funding. His loyalty is to the power brokers. They own him.

His oath of office – he swore to defend the country against all enemies foreign and domestic – was a lie. He had already sworn to protect and support the party, whatever the cost. He and his party are holding the welfare of the nation hostage. He would have us believe the tea party faction is responsible, not him. He fooled me into voting for him; he can’t fool me again. The tea party is meaningful only if you use the initial T for treason. His oath of office would require him to defend the country against himself.

I am extremely sorry for the harm my vote for Jeff Denham will cause. If you voted for Denham, you are also complicit.
