Would communists get a free pass?

With great regret I read about the Modesto Junior College making a veiled threat to a student who was handing out the Constitution on Constitution Day in a “free speech” zone at the college.

With great regret I read about the Modesto Junior College making a veiled threat to a student who was handing out the Constitution on Constitution Day in a “free speech” zone at the college. I am sure if this student had been espousing information about communism or the Muslim Brotherhood he would have been allowed to continue.

As a once-proud graduate of what I thought was a fine institution for higher education, I am so embarrassed and disappointed to see what this college has turned into. Again, Modesto takes its place on the national media stage spotlight for a heinous act. This act was the very poor judgment of the administrators at the college.

I implore those of you who have donated to MJC to show your dissatisfaction with this stand the college and administration has taken by holding back your dollars. Please do not donate to this college until we get a public apology to the student and the community for their bad judgment.
