Race still matters in crime

Thank goodness Robert Vickney, who died from stab wounds in his Rocklin home, was not black.

They released the 20-year-old from custody, saying it might have been self-defense. Had Vickney been black, we would have MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, most newspapers and local TV channels outraged over his release.

Then we would have to put up with Jesse Jackson and riots in Oakland, San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as Congress wanting to have background checks on anyone purchasing a knife.
