Put the onus on unsafe drivers

In response to Dick Hagerty's column: I'm also one of those whose birthday starts with a 7. It's amazing I don't see "pops" or "gran" texting, talking on the phone, eating lunch, breakfast, or maybe dinner, putting on makeup, changing clothes, or arguing with those in the back seat while operating a vehicle.

These same people also are racing to the next stoplight, changing lanes unsafely, so they are first in line.

I'm all for educated, courteous, careful drivers. But let's put the onus of terrible and unsafe driving practices where it belongs!

Dick, maybe you should be a little more observant on your future trips in your vehicle.
