We are being asked for an increase in taxes and at the same time the city is spending an exorbitant amount of money on bathrooms at the transportation center.
Are they paying $40 an hour Bay Area wages and hiring contractors from there? If so, shame on you. They could hire $18-an-hour valley workers with local contractors.
Don't these government employees realize it is also their taxes?
Could this give the taxpayer any faith that the city would spend new taxes wisely?
