Really, should a law be passed to allow a young male or female to shower or use the same restroom as those of a different visible sex?
I was never confused about my gender. As we now recognize homosexual behavior as a normal thing, is it any wonder children are confused on whether they are male or female? This bill has passed committee for the second year in a row. So who are we putting our state in the hands of? Surely not responsible people pretending to be lawmakers.
Editor's note: According to LegInfo, AB 1266: "specifies that a pupil shall be permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs and activities, including athletic teams and competitions, and use facilities consistent with his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil's records."
