U.S. Senate fails to perform

Everyone is angry with Congress, and paint the entire Congress with the brush of inaction. Is that accurate? I don't think so.

Everyone is angry with Congress, and paint the entire Congress with the brush of inaction. Is that accurate? I don't think so.

As you know, Congress is made up of two parts, the House of Representatives and the Senate, and I place the major part of the inactive blame where it belongs, with the Senate. The House of Representatives has passed bill after bill and budget after budget, only to have the legislation lay in the Senate unvoted upon, and therefore, unable to advance into a law.

The current members of the Senate are the culprits who have brought the function of government to a standstill. In the process they have violated their required duties and their oath of office. I don't know about you, but if I don't do my job I get fired.
