What about four years later?

I see a lot of rhetoric about "Are we better off now than four years ago?" You are asking the wrong question. The question is "Will we be better off four years from now than we are today?"

The past is done and we cannot change it. But we can forget about it and repeat our mistakes. Or we can learn from our past and try to build a better future. Four years from now we will be faced with trying to recover from a disastrous presidency. The other question we need to be asking is which disastrous presidency will it be easier to recover from?
