Tozzi deserves re-election in Oakdale

Having worked directly with the Oakdale Joint Unified School District, serving its superintendent and Board of Trustees for nearly 30 years, then serving a four-year term as a board member, I've had the opportunity to observe the workings of the school district from two perspectives.

Having worked directly with the Oakdale Joint Unified School District, serving its superintendent and Board of Trustees for nearly 30 years, then serving a four-year term as a board member, I've had the opportunity to observe the workings of the school district from two perspectives.

I endorse the re-election of Mike Tozzi. He is an enthusiastic community member, is at all times approachable, and is proud of significant achievements in Oakdale's schools while serving on the board. These include the district's very high student test scores, a successful school bond effort which parlayed a $20 million bond into $60 million in new and improved campuses, and as stable a fiscal position as is possible in today's climate.

Please vote for continued energy, excellence and progress in our schools. Vote to re-elect Tozzi.
