It sounds like Meg Whitman and her husband did exactly what they were required to do when they received notice in 2003 that their housekeeper might be illegal. Actually, what they received was a notice saying that her name, Social Security number, etc., didn't match. They brought it to her attention so she could check on it. If she provided the correct information to the Social Security Administration, the problem was resolved. If it hadn't been resolved, they would have received more notices. Apparently, the information provided to the SSA in 2003 passed muster until 2009.
