I watched the gubernatorial debate and was impressed with Jerry Brown. He's the same intelligent, caring person who kept California in good shape for two terms. He's the same humble man who refused to live in the governor's mansion and instead lived in a modest apartment.
Billionaire Meg Whitman seemed to repeat the same lies about her contender. She didn't say anything new, offered to create jobs just like all Republicans running for office do. And we know what happens when they come to power. Arnold Schwarzenegger made promises and look at the state California is in right now; that's all we can expect from people like them: more breaks for the rich, which never trickle down to the poor. Whitman never bothered to register to vote, and now all of a sudden she has all the answers for California. I don't trust those empty promises. I'm voting for Brown.
