I am a student at Johansen High School and I participated in the National Day of Silence at school. People thought it was only for gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender people; but it wasn't only for them. It was for people who are bullied in general. Because you might be GLBT or different doesn't mean you should be harassed to the point where you have suicidal thoughts. Believe it or not, those thoughts accrue when you are being bullied or harassed.
In my opinion it is not "sinful" or "twisted" to have that kind of lifestyle, it just means you have different preferences when it comes to dating males or females. People who think it is OK for people to keep harassing people because they don't approve of different lifestyles are very small- minded and sad. I strictly believe if we don't have enough tolerance for different cultures, religions and lifestyles, then maybe we should just put ourselves in their shoes and see how we feel then.
