How selfish we are to not want major portions of our tax dollars spent on welfare, medical and school expenses of illegal immigrants. Only someone who has never been to the welfare facility, an emergency room or a school would say we are not being taxed to death.
The word "illegal" says it all; it is against the law. That seems to mean nothing to the people who cry about the treatment of illegals. I wish some of that concern would be directed toward legal residents. You can't condone illegals without breaking the law yourself. To the writer of "Illegals come because they must" (April 14): Does that make it lawful?
