I read Dr. Lisa Masson's column ("Technology lets me go to college with my daughter at MIT," Oct. 13, Page B-5). I hope the staff at California State University, Stanislaus, reads the column also. One of my children graduated from another CSU campus and did not experience the frustrations that I and my children have with the attitude and accessibility of some CSU Stanislaus staff. Some instructional staff have taken four days to answer e-mails, have scheduled classes to meet only four times during a semester, are not available for a week at a time and routinely miss scheduled classes. What are requirements for attendance and responsiveness to student at CSU Stanislaus?
