On Oct. 8, as I approached the corner of Tully Road and Orangeburg Avenue, the right-turn lane was slowing and the fellow behind me wasn't. The car proceeded to rear-end me and my 9-year-old grandson. When I started to get out, the car fled away onto Orangeburg and was gone. Yes, I had damage, but my grandson and I were not hurt. He really banged me, but I have a very sturdy car.
I can't believe that a person can hit something and leave the scene. What a danger lurks on our streets? I know people saw this, and I would certainly appreciate any information.
