On the day that tickets for the Tony Bennett concert at the Gallo Center for the Arts went on sale, I purchased, by phone, two tickets in the balcony section for $84 each. Four weeks later I phoned the box office again because I had not received my tickets. I was informed that the tickets would be mailed out in about 10 days. On Monday, a person from the box office phoned and informed me that my tickets were ready to be mailed but they were not seats together! However, for an extra $41 per ticket, I could sit in the orchestra section and have two seats together. This is bait-and-switch! But since I have already made dinner reservations, had my suit altered and cleaned, and had ordered flowers for my date, I relented and said OK. I'm wondering how many other unfortunates have a similar story and dent in their pocketbooks? I'll attend the concert with bitter feelings about the organization.
