This marketing campaign gives me pause — bumper stickers, billboards, banners, radio spots, sign dancers, bus-stop benches, airplane sky writers.
I take issue with people claiming to be Christians who will spend upwards of $30,000 in advertising to promote this soul harvesting ’07 thing, not to mention the cost of the event which is free admission.
Think of how many people could have been taken out of poverty. They could have fed 50,000 kids in Africa for the next five years.
I think throwing that much money into a marketing blitz is a little offensive, irresponsible and just disgustingly self-serving when you’re claiming to be a Christian organization out to do good. All this guy cares about is gaining more members in his group hence making more money in the end. Pathetic.
Never miss a local story.
