It is obvious that the climate is changing and that there will be major challenges in the future regarding availability of water to this area. The Bee’s editorials emphasize this all the time. That means that we need people in office who understand hydrology and how to prepare for the future. Jake Wenger’s livelihood depends on water and he has learned a lot about it as an MID director. I support him for that reason and because he is also interested in precedent-setting, state-supported research on storm runoff and groundwater recharge locally. Experience and knowledge is really important. Your vote is needed.
