Re “Obama’s message wasn’t hate” (Letters, Feb. 26): This writer called half the population simple minded because they were disgusted with the president at the National Prayer Breakfast. This president has the U.S. topsy-turvy. We have become so divided in the years of his presidency.
Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Susan Rice are only a few who have lied through all these scandals. They downplay ISIS like it’s not a threat. Any president that invites Al Sharpton to the White House, well, you have to wonder. Instead of calling people simple-minded you should worry about this president’s actions. Our men and women in uniform are not happy with him, either. Many more people will be executed by ISIS, and the world looks on and says we condemn these actions. ISIS cares not. A president should defend his country, not apologize for it.
Shame on you for calling people simple-minded, just because they don’t like what Obama said at the Prayer Breakfast. They have that right. Sounds like anger management is in order.
