Kap and his brothers in arms have every right to do whatever they want during the national anthem. As a U.S. Air Force veteran I support their right to do it. It is a right that soldiers have fought and died for in our unending wars for freedom.
I also believe these protesters are ignorant, uninformed and most of all: Disrespectful of our country.
One player is quoted: “I’m not here to spread hate, I’m all about love and positivity.” So tell me Einstein, do you see any love and positivity coming out of what you’re doing?
I’m not seeing it. Study up on these police incidents you’re protesting and you will learn you do not have a leg to stand on, (pardon the unintendend humor). And Kap, your pig socks aren’t helping. Because I and others like me do not appreciate your actions, all of a sudden we’re the “haters?”
Well, maybe we are, because I hate watching anybody disrespect the best country in the world. So I’ll be exercising my rights, too – to turn off your games for good. The NFL is grossly overpaid men playing a child’s game. And now they’re acting like spoiled children. It’s become a really bad reality TV show. I’m out.
