Don't close the parks

The governor wants to close 220 state parks because of the budget crisis, state parks like Columbia, Sunset State Beach, Calaveras Big Trees and many others.

I feel people grow up with state parks to teach them about history, science, mining and wildlife, and other parks are just there to let them enjoy nature and be outside.

If we close down state parks people will not have a hands-on education about history and science that you cannot get in a school.

I am very upset about this. I think even though it costs a lot to run state parks it is worth it. We should cut some of the money that goes to all the politicians before closing the state parks.
