In response to "Health care debate looks at uninsured young adults" (Oct. 19, Page B-5): I agree that it is difficult for young adults to pay for insurance, especially if they have to pay for college tuition and textbooks. As a 21-year old student, I eventually will no longer be under parental coverage. I won't be able to pay for insurance because of the cost and I would rather spend my money on college fees. Fortunately, I am still under parental coverage because their policy allows me to as long as I'm attending school full time.

In response to "County spay-neuter clinic a necessary," (Oct. 7, Letters): I agree with the Stanislaus County Animal Services that we do need a spay-neuter clinic that will be more affordable for people to neuter their animals. People with low incomes have plenty of other expenses they need to deal with and getting their animals neutered is not a necessity to them.
