75 YEARS AGO: It was announced by Ceres Union High School superintendent A.S. Cakebread that the University of California, Berkeley, recognized the school district as high accredited to the university. The label applied for the 1938-39 and 1939-40 graduates, and allowed those students easier entry into the university.
