Dave Pelucca: Without farms there’s no food

Regarding “Modesto seeks balance between prime farmland in Wood Colony and acreage for industrial use” (Dec. 14, online) and “Choice: Farms or Jobs” (Dec. 15, Page A1): Here we go again. The city is trying to eat up the county to solve its “No Job” problem. California wants pavement and warehouses and doesn’t care about good dirt!
