Kitten kindness is a fine act

It was a faint meow from a street storm drain on Sisk Road near the new In-N-Out Burger, but loud enough for a young couple and their 2-year-old boy to hear as they walked by. The kitten had somehow fallen into the water-filled drain, but managed to climb up to a relief drain that crossed under Sisk Road.

The couple couldn't remove the heavy drain cover to rescue the kitten so they got some food and managed to get it to the scared little thing. They called for help and a number of city employees from several departments responded. The kitten was rescued and not taken to the animal shelter, but rather taken in by the family.

This family showed a simple Act Of Kindness and that makes them A-OK in my book.
