Bannon sold Cambridge Analytica stake, fined for late ethics report

Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon sold his stake in Cambridge Analytica -- the data firm Donald Trump employed to reach voters with hyper-targeted online messaging during the campaign -- in April, as required by his ethics requirement. But he was fined for being late with his report about the sale, joining a growing number of Trump administration officials who have been fined for late ethics filings.
