Stanislaus County Registrar of Voters Lee Lundrigan needs volunteers for the Nov. 5 election.
She said her office will be staffing more than 160 polling places with four to five volunteer election officers at each site.
"We are actively seeking registered voters to serve as election officers," she said.
Bilingual volunteers who speak English and Spanish are especially needed.
Each election officer will receive a $95 to $130 stipend for the day.
Anyone wishing to be an election officer may sign up by contacting the Elections Office at (209) 525-5233 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
